For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children. As an Early Childhood Educator, Certified Teacher, and former Principal, I have spent years creating environments where young minds can flourish. From guiding classrooms to leading entire schools, I have seen firsthand the power of a nurturing, play-based foundation in shaping a child’s future.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in hands-on learning. I believe that children thrive when they are encouraged to explore, create, and discover through play. Whether it's through sensory tables that spark curiosity, STEM activities that inspire problem-solving, imaginative play that builds social skills, or arts and crafts that encourage creativity, every part of our program is designed with purpose.

But opening Forrest Ranger Early Learning & Childcare was more than just a career step—it was personal.

After welcoming my son Forrest, my husband and I quickly realized how challenging it was to find daycare in what is often called a "daycare desert." Throughout my maternity leave, I met so many incredible parents facing the same struggle—endless waitlists, uncertainty, and the stress of securing quality care before returning to work. As an educator and a mother, I knew I wanted to be part of the solution.

That’s when Forrest Ranger Early Learning & Childcare was born—a place where children are not just cared for but are encouraged to grow, explore, and develop a lifelong love for learning in a safe and enriching environment.

* Price is based on current Canada Alberta Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CACWELCC) Agreement and is subject to change.
** This fee reflects the Standard Care costs as defined under Alberta’s child care funding framework. It covers the core operational expenses necessary for licensed child care services, as outlined by provincial guidelines. These core expenses include, but are not limited to: Staff wages and benefits (including salaries, payroll taxes, and training). Facility expenses (rent, utilities, property maintenance). Basic educational materials and program resources. Standard meals and snacks that align with Alberta’s nutrition guidelines. Cleaning, sanitization, and health & safety supplies. Insurance and administrative costs
